Yeardley Leonard has been with the school for eight years and will continue as a Lead Teacher in the Downstairs Kindergarten. Having begun her teaching career in the Parent-Child program at the New Amsterdam School in Manhattan, she obtained her certification in Waldorf Early Childhood Teacher Education at Sunbridge Institute. Prior to teaching she earned a degree in Studio Art and Art History and worked as a visiting artist in New York City public schools.
