Vera Holschneider teaches German in grades 7 -12. Her first teaching encounter in Germany was helping children of Italian guest workers to succeed in the German school system. She received her degrees from the Universität Hamburg and Fotoschule Hamburg, Germany, and moved to the U.S. in 1990, where she has been teaching students of all ages at several language schools throughout the city. Her lively classes include conversation, grammar, literature, her own written dialogues (“Oh, wie lustig!”) and singing. Vera also works as a professional photographer, and derives her deepest artistic inspiration from music.
