Kirsten Anderson

Handwork, Grades 1-8

Hailing from Denmark, Kirsten met Waldorf education there and first trained as an Early Childhood teacher in Copenhagen and later completed her degree in Speech and Drama at the Goetheanum in Switzerland. Before moving to the US in 2002, Kirsten worked as a Speech and Drama therapist for 14 years with children and adults with special needs. With a BA in Communication Disorders and post graduate work in Speech Language Pathology, she is delighted to return to working with children on an artistic and practical level. Kirsten has been at the school since 2011 as a Handwork Assistant in the Lower and Middle school, assisting also in the Parent Child Program.
