Ilan Safit

Ilan Safit studied Literature and Philosophy at Tel Aviv University, Israel, before moving to Amsterdam, The Netherlands, where he earned a Master’s in Film Studies and was introduced to anthroposophy and Waldorf education. In the United States he completed a doctorate degree in Comparative Literature and taught literature, film, and mostly philosophy on the undergraduate and graduate levels for more than 15 years. He has been the editor of the Research Bulletin for Waldorf Education since 2017 and is the co-author of Into the World: How Waldorf Graduates Fare After High School (2020). Dr. Safit rejoined the Rudolf Steiner School as Humanities High School Teacher in 2019.
