Gabriela Cordo, a native of Argentina, earned her law degree from the University of Buenos Aires. Over the next five years, Gabriela practiced law with local top-ranked firms and, concurrently, was an Associate Professor in Civil and Commercial Contracts and Administrative Law at the University of Buenos Aires.
Due to her growing international client base, Ms. Cordo decided to earn a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Cornell Law School, followed by nearly two decades of international legal practice with New York based law firm Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP.
Ms.Cordo discovered Waldorf Education as a parent and immediately immersed herself in the school community, becoming a fervent advocate of education. Her passion for Waldorf education led her to join Rudolf Steiner School of New York City as their School Administrator in 2018. In this role, she found the opportunity to integrate her love and commitment to education with the skill set that she had developed during her legal career. In 2019, Gabriela earned her certification in Waldorf Administration and Leadership from Antioch University New England, in New Hampshire. Ms. Cordo currently serves as a trustee of the Guild of Independent Schools of New York City and the New York State Association of Independent Schools (NYSAIS).
