Our faculty consists of highly trained instructors, skilled at educating the whole child. Classes are small and lively. Instructors are patient, available, and understanding as they respond to students’ individual personalities and needs. The Waldorf teacher believes that superior knowledge is gained from intellectual challenge, and met through the imaginative interaction of students’ artistic sensibilities, emotions, and personal volition.
In the Elementary School, the Main Teacher leads a class, in many cases, from first through eighth grade. The result is an exemplary, time-tested classroom atmosphere of reciprocal trust, assessment, understanding and communication.
In the High School, the combination of curriculum and community yields interwoven paths of progress, both personal and academic. This leads to the level of excellence needed for success in top ranked colleges and universities, which is where our graduates routinely enroll.
