“Children who cook become children who taste, and sometimes eat. Involving children in the process of cooking greatly increases the chance that they’ll actually try the finished dish.”
The New York Times should visit Steiner’s Nursery and Kindergarten this fall to watch our children chopping vegetables to make soup, grinding grain and mixing the batter to bake bread, and churning their own butter. ALL in their own classroom. Scrumptious!
